The European Power Supply Manufacturers Association (EPSMA) is pleased to announce the first part of a series of safety requirement guidelines for power supplies – Safety Approvals for DIN Rail Power Supplies. This document has been drawn up by the team of experts on the EPSMA's Technical Committee and was championed by the project leader from Siemens. It covers design issues, definitions and standards and provides advice on safety rules and certification.

The EPSMA aims to publish two more guidelines and design notes on medical and railway applications over the next twelve months.
