  • EPSMA Annual General Meeting – 11th November 2025
  • New Vice-Chairman and Secretary

Notes from the Secretariat - Alan Hill

In taking this opportunity to introduce myself as the new secretary of the association, I would like to highlight the forthcoming Annual General Meeting and extend a warm invitation to all members. This will be held at the offices of PULS Vario, in Vienna. This location is very well connected with transport and accommodation options and of course the opportunity to take a little time out to explore this glorious historic city is very enticing. I look forward to meeting you in person. If this is not possible, then the meeting will be accessible through a ‘Teams’ video conference call. Invitations to this will be repeated, closer to the event.

Upcoming Events

  • AGM. Face to face, at Puls offices Vienna November 11th 2025
  • Q1 MC meeting - 10th February 2026, on-line via MS Teams

EPSMA MC meeting 9th Sept 2025

  • Seventeen EPSMA members attended, via video conference call.
  • Alan Hill has now taken up the role of Secretariat, with generous training from Paul Lee.
  • The invitation from the IEC TC108, to attend a general meeting in New Delhi, was not accepted, as it was determined that a specific meeting with key players would be more effective for discussion of the proposal to disallow PSU output power de-ratings at low-line AC input. We are targeting this meeting for later in 2025.
  • Manfred Schlenk is fully retiring soon so will relinquish his position as Vice Chairman of the EPSMA for which all members thank him sincerely. Andreas Hoischen of Delta has volunteered to take the position at least temporarily.
